You can earn one million dollars.
$1,000,000.
You have two choices as to how.
Option 1: $1,000,000 per year
Option 2: $1,000,000 over 40 years ($25,000 per year)
Which would you choose?
Youâd take Option 1. Why?
Because the speed of your success matters just as much as the success itself.
But⌠What if it DID take 40 years? Is that so bad? Itâs still a million dollars, right?
Letâs see.
If youâre earning $25k per year right now (or $40k or $50k), youâre on track â just a few decades away. Do you feel like a millionaire?
Can you do the same things as someone who earns your yearly income in a month?
Why not???
Itâs the same amount of money, right?
Time matters. Speed matters. Efficiency of outcomes â ie how much time it takes to achieve something â MATTERS.
I used to play pro basketball. My pro career began at age 23. To this day, I hear from people who want to finally give pro ball a shot at age 30.
Do they have the same opportunity at 30 that I had at 23?
No.
Because, time.
Iâve dabbled in network marketing in the past. Some declined to get involved, calling it a scam, a âget-rich-quickâ scheme.
EVERYTHING YOU DO should be a âget-rich-quickâ scheme. Because, how is your life now while youâre getting rich SLOW?
Funny thing: No one has a problem getting rich quickly. If you could 10X your results right now without a change in habits, youâd do it. You WANT to get rich quick.
But we know it doesnât work that way.
For 10X results, some things must change.
Itâs the pressure, expectations and (perceived) stress that accompanies that change that youâre avoiding.
You donât mind the outcome. You'd welcome that with open arms.
What you mind is moving out of your comfort zone.
So you rationalize getting rich slowly, the 40-year plan, as if that was your goal all along.
Bullshit.
Lie to me.
Lie to your spouse.
Lie to Instagram.
Donât lie to yourself.
