It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. I don’t know who originally said this, but a lot of people have agreed with it.
Taken this idea and espoused being nice, which means agreeable and adequate, over being important, which means being a priority and top-of-mind.
Today, I examine exactly what this cliché means, and how you will turn it on its head and start living as if you expect to be important. Because nice, unimportant people don’t get things done, and they’re never remembered.
