#2776: We Are A Society Of Quitters

James Harden is a quitter who quit on three teams while still under contract. I'm using his story to talk about a broader issue today. Some defend him, saying he didn't quit and pointing to his success. And this is what I mean. This reflects a societal trend where someone can just quit three times in a row publicly, but still have people who will defend them tooth and nail.

And I'm going to share how all of this affects all of us for the worse.

Show notes:
[10:50]#1 People quit as soon as something is inconvenient.
[15:05]#2 This isn't to say that there is not a time for quitting.
[19:59]#3 Many are self-focused, often overlooking how their actions impact others.
[26:29]#4 Focus Is A Force Multiplier

Execution is not a talent.
It is a measurable standard.

If your results don’t match your ability, you are not lacking information—you are lacking execution reliability.

The Execution Reliability Index (ERI) identifies exactly where your discipline breaks, where your standards drop, and where your results are leaking.

This is not theory.
This is a system.
