Science says that women have a larger range of peripheral vision than men. A woman, I once read, can look at a man in the eyes while taking in his hair, lips, shoulders and the shape and definition of his chest.

A man, on the other hand, with his more focused range of vision, has to look from the eyes to the lips to the chest to the everything else, point by point.
