Someone who I’ve known for a long time called me last week. I let the call go to voicemail. The caller didn’t leave a message; I think they probably expected a call back simply from the missed call.

I haven’t called this person back.

And unless they call again, I probably won’t.

Every time I think about it, I ask myself if I should feel bad about not calling this person back. And every time, the answer is the same: I don’t.
