The rocks with their crevices and sharp edges are what make the climb possible. If it were all smooth, there would be nothing to grip on, no way to pull yourself up, no dangers to keep you mentally sharp.


The dangers, edges, and not-so-easy-ness of it will keep many people away from trying.  But, far as I see- that's what makes it fun.
