Pete Carroll is the Super Bowl coach of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. I don’t follow the NFL too closely, but one thing I know for sure is there’s more parity — evenness, likelihood of any one team beating another — in the NFL than there is in college football, even at the D1 level.
Pete used to coach at the University of Southern California (USC), where he built a dominant program that lost a total of 9 games in the 7-season span from 2002-08, won two national championships and came within a game of a few others.
