The other day, I wanted a burger (yeah, I’m still vegan— except when I’m not). I called a place called Pincho Factory to order by phone and come pick it up.

I told the guy who answered that I wanted to place an order for pickup. He paused for a moment and said, “can you give me two minutes, because we’re backed up right now.”

I told him I’d call back.

I haven’t called back.
