By the time we reach adulthood, people get very good at presenting great trailers of themselves. You know what trailers are: The 2-minute highlight reel/preview of a 90-120 minute movie. Every movie trailer has some positive aspect to it, something that intrigues you to want to see more.
But every movie is not good or worth the $16.
When you see someone's entire movie, you realize the trailer was nothing more than a great sales pitch. Sitting through the entire body of work, you may leave disappointed.
Trailers sell movies, and a good trailer can get you excited on the spot. Sometimes, though, it may be better to wait for the reviews.
