Know somebody — or have somebody who knows you — who has access, knowledge, or relationships that you and others don’t have. Being born into the right family is an example. Having friends in high places in another.
Be significantly different — in skill, persistence, uniqueness, performance, delivery, or something else — than everyone else, to the point where you’re no longer in direct competition with everyone else.
Option #1 sometimes happens to you, without your conscious effort. You can manufacture #1, too, by asking (and answering) the right questions.
How to bring #2 to reality is your job to figure out; it’s the most important job you have when you’re in a crowded market.
Good luck.

In the Game Group, I do my best as a guide to help you get to (and keep) this advantage.
Not by providing you the answers — no one can do that for you in a significant way — but by guiding you to the right questions. Then, of course, you still have to do the work.
