I have a lot of shit going on. 
Some things that are related to each other. Some things that exist on their own. But they’re all ongoing situations that affect me in some way.  
I don’t control all of the outcomes of these situations, and some of them have forced me to wait on other people — which I don’t like doing. 
Maybe you’ve felt this way before. 
When you’re in this position, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed with all the stuff that’s coming at you. 
Possibly you feel anxiety over having things hanging over your head. 
Maybe it’s frustration with the fact that you can’t force an issue to a resolution and you have to wait. 

When in this space, remember two things. 
1) With the right attitude, your degree of control over circumstances increases, to the point that you can shape outcomes that were once out of your control to your desire. 
2) Having so many things going on in your life, many of them uncertain and unresolved, is why you are who you are. 

Most people don’t want to have to deal with so many such circumstances all at once. For them, it’s distress: the bad type of stress that breaks people down from the inside. 
You, on the other hand, take these challenges as eustress: the good type of stress that emboldens you, engages your will and builds you up. 
Most people only take on what they’re 100% sure they can handle. That’s a sound strategy for staying safe. Problem with this is, you never find out how much you can handle. 
The leader’s role is to handle things— usually more things than you even know you can handle. 
If there was no stress involved in leading, everyone would lead.
