I receive messages from up-and-coming basketball players all the time, asking me for help. Literally saying, can you help me _________ (get better, be respected on the court, make the team, get the coach to notice me, etc).
Here's the answer: No. I cannot help you.
I cannot shoot your jumpshots.
I cannot make you show up when it matters and show your game.
I cannot feel what you feel and decide when you need a day off.
I cannot tell you why you got cut when you were easily the best player in the gym that day (actually, I can: you weren't the best player).
I cannot get you out of bed to hit the court early.
Here's what I will do: Show you how to help yourself.
I'll show you how to work on your game.
I'll show you what steps you need to take to get to your next level.
I'll show you what I did and you can take from it what you wish.
I'll show you the mindset that will get you where you want to go.
I'll show you how to eliminate the lame excuses and stories that no one - including me - wants to hear.
The mindset you need to develop is not one of help me. If no one helps you, you're stuck in neutral. Here's a better message: Show me how to help myself. This empowers you to take control. The statement gives you options. Puts you in control of your destiny. And you're not waiting on anyone to do something for you.

When you're ready to help yourself, head over to the Help page and read EVERYTHING on it. Then go to work on what you read.
