I met this guy who, apparently, really liked this girl whom we both knew.

Thing was, she liked him too — as a friend. The guy was, unfortunately, firmly entrenched in the Friend Zone. Problem was, Friend Zone Guy was so bad at shooting his shot — apparently he hadn’t ever gotten his shot off at all — that she never even had to turn him down.
