If you're at the head of your group, every single conversation you have with the team or any individual should end positively.
Even if you're angry and the person/people you're speaking to have made major errors that are completely their fault -- yes, address it, but never leave them with a bad taste in their mouths. Unappreciated, fearful, and hurt people don't do their best work for you. Motivated, appreciated, and purposeful people do.
No matter what happens, always remember that your energy trickles down through the group. They will be a reflection of you, in both the positive and the negative. Keep their spirits up and they'll play hard for you.
