Drake has been called by some to be this generation’s Jay-Z, and I can see the resemblance.

Drake is the hottest and, in many opinions, the best, active rapper, just as Hov was at the turn of the century. Drake has many rival artists taking shots at and wishing to engage him in conflict, just as Jay-Z had (though Jay rarely engaged). Drake even has a line in a song where he admits that he used to want to be signed to Jay’s label… until he became Top Guy himself, rendering that wish no longer needed.
