How To Instantly Reassure Yourself Of Long-Term Success and Have Peace Of Mind While Dealing With Today's Uncertainty...

The patriarch of the modern New York Yankees baseball dynasty was a man named George Steinbrenner, aka The Boss.
Steinbrenner was relentless and direct, and always about winning. To Steinbrenner, everything was about the Yankees winning as much as possible — so much so that The Boss would often make short-sighted, win-now trades in which the Yankees would mortgage their future in favor of the present.

Steinbrenner often pushed Yankees management into trading young developing prospects — players who projected to be good, but weren’t good yet — for proven veterans. These moves would come back to haunt the club later, as those veteran players would age and the Yankees subsequently had no good young players to build around.

Then, Steinbrenner got suspended.
The punishment was handed down by the Major League Baseball commissioner Fay Vincent for The Boss’ failed attempt to dig up dirt on one of his own players (a player he’d traded young prospects to acquire, coincidentally) via a private investigator.

Steinbrenner was not allowed to participate in day-to-day Yankee operations for 3 years. Which meant that management couldn’t be forced into any short-sighted trades, so they could now keep and groom their minor league prospects.
This happened in the summer of 1990. For the Yankees organization, the timing couldn’t have been better.
That’s because the Yankees had some young prospects at that time who projected to become good in the coming years — but they would need time to grow into who they would become.

Whether you watch baseball or not, you may recognize some of the names.
Derek Jeter.
Mariano Rivera.
Jorge Posada.
Bernie Williams.

These young guys eventually became seasoned vets, clubhouse leaders. The New York Yankees won World Series titles in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000.
One big reason: The Boss couldn’t interfere with the long-term plans.

If you work in retail, hospitality, food service, education, travel, or anything that could possibly involve large gatherings of people — or if you serve those folks — your business / career is currently in flux.
You have no idea what your future holds, or when your future will resume. There are certain things in your life, though, that will still need to be taken care of, and you don’t know how you’ll do it.
This is your time to, amongst other things, groom your “young prospects,” i.e. work on your future.
Just like the Yankees management could finally put a long-term plan into place with The Boss no longer breathing down their necks, you can now take the time and space that’s on your hands and start executing your long-term plans — or making some if you didn’t have any before.

You may not achieve any immediate wins from it, just like the Yankees didn’t win a championship until three years after Steinbrenner came back into the fold.
But, when the long-term wins do begin, they will come in hard and heavy, just as they did for the Yankees in the late 1990s.
