I ran ten miles this morning.
If you run distances — let’s say more than five miles — on the regular, you know how easy it can feel while you’re running (unless that’s just me, but I don’t think so). After the run though, once the “high” comes down, I begin feeling the results of my actions.
It’s not acute physical pain, but fatigue. Soreness from the feet up to the hip joints. My physical body, in an ideal situation, just wants to lay down and do nothing for the rest of the day. My mind agrees; that would be fun and preferable to sitting or standing at a desk, talking into a microphone, or anyform of physical movement such as walking.
