Dre Has been blogging since 2005 and started publishing to YouTube in 2006. He has over 5500 videos published with daily content going out to his 120,000+ subscribers and being viewed 40 million times. Dre speaks, coaches and consults business professionals on mental toughness confidence and discipline. He has given 3 TED talks published 13 books. Dre’s Work On Your Game Podcast is ranked on iTunes top 100 education broadcast. A Philadelphia native and Penn State Alumnus. Dre now lives in Miami.

Here Dre shared his inspiring story of how he worked his way uphill coming from a Division III school, to playing professional basketball for 9 years , how he transitioned to becoming an entrepreneur and became the pioneer in using multimedia streaming for motivation and sports instructional workouts, then how HoopHandbook came about which has now tallied 11,000 orders of his basketball manuals.

Dre recounted the powerful story of how he drove his 23 year old self from Philadelphia to Orlando and headed straight to an exposure camp without sleep to seize what in his mind was, may be his only opportunity to make something out of his Professional Basketball Dream. He shared his mindset at that moment, how his crucial decision to take the reins, led him to leave an imprint on everyone who witnessed that moment and how it changed his life.

"Your confidence should always outpace your achievements." 

Dre also spoke in depth regarding discipline, confidence, mental toughness, laying-out a mental road-map of where you want to go, the ability of putting yourself in the frame of mind of the person you want to be thus being that person even if the results aren’t there yet, and the principle of having the mental fortitude to show up and perform day after day even if you don’t feel like it.

"Who you want to be has to be more important than who anyone else wants you to be."
