Baltasar Gracian has a great aphorism in one of my favorite books:
Identify your king of attributes and apply it in double strength.

This is also known as pressing your advantage (and probably several other sayings). Figure out what it is you're best at -- be very specific -- and put the majority of your energy into that thing. This can be applied in your life's purpose, at work, in a sporting competition, in relationships. Do what you do best, and do that a lot.
That is your advantage to getting ahead in this world and this life.
