“I wanted to write this book, not because I’m smarter than anyone else, but because I think there are a lot of people like I was. People who model the surface level of what others are doing and are frustrated that they aren’t getting similar results. This book is the culmination of a decade spent analyzing hundreds of companies and their successful sales funnels. I have built over one hundred sales funnels of my own and have worked with thousands of students and clients to build funnels in every market you can dream of—both online and offline.I hope that after reading this book you will realize your dreams of success are a lot closer than you think. You will soon see that by providing a ton of value, communicating effectively with your audience, and building out your sales processes in a very strategic way, you can get your product, service, or message out to the world. And, you can get paid what you’re worth while doing it.”
I first heard of Russell Brunson while listening to his appearance on the EOFire podcast. What I heard Russell explaining - that a person who creates valuable content can be taught to deliver it systematically for maximum value to both creator and consumer - grabbed my attention quickly.
Thus, my reading of Dotcom Secrets.
Russell begins this short book explaining how he got into his business of helping people create and share valuable content online while getting paid for it: Infomercials. He soon realized that there was a (lucrative) system to what those people on TV at 3am were doing that worked. And Russell, along with years of study and learning from other sales gurus, brought the idea to the online space.
Dotcom Secrets breaks down how the process of selling works, and specifically what works. The book is not a solution to the challenge of selling online in itself, but a map identifying the solution and explaining exactly how to create the solution.
If you have value to share and are ready to do the work, Dotcom Secrets is a book you need.
