I was listening to an interview of rapper Redman,  who, addition to his music, has gotten involved in the marijuana business. He mentioned how he’d heard there was a big name person (he didn’t say who) who had been busy buying up farmland in California in anticipation of weed being fully legalized in the state — with the aim of becoming the exclusive supplier for Walmart when Walmart starts selling marijuana.

Supplying for Walmart is tens — if not hundreds — of millions of dollars per year in business. And, while anyone would want to get a piece of that, who would aim for it ahead of time?
