If you're not sure of you're ready for something, you're not. There is no in-between with preparedness. You either are or you aren't.

But there are advantages to going before you're ready. You call on yourself to devote all of your resources -- resources that would go otherwise untapped -- to respond and rise to the occasion. You have to step your game up, so to speak, to survive the situation or fall off the cliff. You get to prove yourself, to yourself.

Waiting until you're ready to do anything  will result in ultimately doing nothing. There's always something more you could do to prepare. As they say, being on-time is the same as being late. Early is the real on-time. Same with ready and not-quite-ready. When go time comes, you will have no choice but to be ready.
