An electric fence can stop the most ambitious dog from ever leaving the yard. Let the dog feel the vibration or shock that comes from getting too close to the fence often enough, and you don’t even need the fence.

I don’t know if electric fences have been made for humans, but many people live as if there is one around them. These people are boxed in. They don’t have many options. Many people are just stuck.
