My senior year of high school, I worked hard every day in practice. Hustling to be first in every drill, listening closely to everything the coach said, being on time for every practice… and none of it earned me any playing time. Players who played more than me made jokes about my lack of playing time. But that hustling mindset paid off in subsequent years as i walked on to a college basketball team and then into the pros.

The choice to hustle sometimes doesn’t pay off until much later. What choice are you making today?
