The accessibility of your favorite experts / gurus / know individuals may blind you to the harsh reality of the business and professional world which still exist: everybody can’t make it.

While you can reply to and reach out to — and maybe even get a response from — virtually anyone today, that doesn’t mean he/she is inclined to do your bidding (and they probably won’t). You still have to do your own homework and make happen most of what will happen for you (if anything).

Don’t be lulled to sleep by the proximity of the expert or of those who have already “made it” — without the effort and Game on your part, they’re much further away than they appear.
