Having a opinion that differs from the local consensus is dangerous ground to walk on these days. Twitter mobs, comment trolls and myriad other otherwise-pleasant people become bloodthirsty vampires out for a win of any sort.
Some people are so far gone as to never been saved from such maladies. They’re not the type to listen to a personal development podcast. So fuck them.
Today I take aim at those of you teetering on falling on the wrong side of conversation: the side where everyone who disagrees with you must be wrong in some way. I don’t blame you for thinking such — it’s clearly the cool way to be nowadays.
Just know: what’s cool isn’t necessarily smart, and often is not productive towards your goals.
