As an entrepreneur, I make my own schedule. I do things when I want to, or don’t do them at all of/when I don’t want to. Being a business owner is not an easy job; many of the things to be done aren’t exactly fun or invigorating. But their completion determine the future of my business. All this being known, distraction is a constant enemy of the business owner.
For anyone, entrepreneur or not, our options for distraction are increasingly plentiful and easy to get to — making the deep work necessary for real results (possibly) harder and harder to get to. And the harder the deep work required of is, the easier to give in to distraction.
So today I answer the question, on a micro and macro level, of how we maintain focus when so much stuff competes against it?
