In high school, it always made me curious how 8 people — friends in a group — could all have the exact same opinion on so many topics. It didn’t take much consideration to understand why: Save for maybe one person in the group (the leader), they were all followers.
I sometimes wonder if people in such groups remain friends to this day. And if not, why. And how divergent their options would be today, if at all.
Today’s show is about taking off your mask of conformity and of being who you think you need to be for others’ approval or who you think you need to be to achieve certain goals. Can you still have goals and aims to grow as a person? Of course; don’t be silly.
Today is about being who you are, all the way, while doing so.
