I read Michael Jordan once talk about how, as soon as he’d notice any holes in his basketball game, he’d immediately go to work finishing it. Mike never wanted to give any opponent any opening to exploit. And any competitor reading this knows: one opening becomes a second, a third and a tenth.
Now, maybe you’ve heard someone — maybe me — day to focus mostly on your strengths. Wouldn’t this point conflict? No: for the best performers, addressing areas of need IS a strength in itself. That’s how they become the best.
