When I woke up the morning of November 9, I was shocked. How could this have happened when Trump was a joke of a candidate?!?! The week after the election, I realized something: I was getting all my news, articles and opinions from people on “The Left.”

People who considered the election to be a mere formality, and Donald Trump to be a joke, had been all I was listening to.

I followed some new people. I needed to open my mind to some other opinions. I got them.
