I was just reading an article that called out self-proclaimed “introverts.” Yeah, those people who don’t like socializing or making friends or leaving the house or doing anything that involves dealing with people.
The article said these people may just be rude. I think these people actually lack communication skills, which is why they avoid anything that would require communication, especially with people you don’t know.
If you’re going anywhere in life, you better be good at talking to people. And listening to them. And getting your point across. And hearing what’s not being said.
Communication skills will get you far — even further than your mechanical skills can. Communication opens doors for that mechanical skill to get exposed.
