I was working at a movie theatre in college one Sunday early afternoon. Some bitch woman came to my concessions counter with an attitude and I didn’t take it too well.
“Listen, I don’t know who the fuck you think you’re talking to…”
Right in front of my boss.
That was my last day on the job at the movie theatre.
We’ve all had our moments of recklessness — with our words, our actions, our money — but it’s only time recklessness that can’t be undone in any way.
Yeah, we can “make up for lost time,” but that’s what we’ll always be doing: making up for what is lost. All other resources can be recovered.
Today’s show’s aim is to ensure you’re not in make-up mode ever again.
