I don’t play ball anymore. At all. But I still go to the gym every day. I still bike and run and take pride in my conditioning and appearance.
But why?
I know a lot of ex-athletes who’ve done the opposite: gained lots of weight, can’t run anymore, are completely out of condition — and it really shows. They’re done playing their sport though, so does it even matter?
Maybe not to them. But it sure as hell does to me. And today’s show explains why.
