You may have had one or all of the above opinions of the latest Headline Grabbing Sports Dad who has not one, but three kids who are making headlines. Maybe you’ve said it out loud. Maybe you’ve written it on your blog or posted it in a video. Maybe you just talk about it with your friends.

It’s all playing into the hands of LaVar Ball.

Almost all of us who know who this guy is — Google him if you don’t, he’s easy to find — has an opinion. And that’s (one of) the point(s) — LaVar can grab attention and keep it (so far). Just on that point alone, many of us can learn from this guy.
