One of my favorite albums of all time is Puff Daddy’s No Way Out from 1997. Notorious B.I.G. Had recently passed, and it looked like the Bad Boy empire was set to crumble without its headline star. What people soon found out though, was the headline star of Bad Boy was never Biggie. It always was Puff.

That album, aptly titled as Puff had gone all-in on his brand and business, shot Puffy into the stratosphere in terms of popularity and attention.

But the energy that created such a situations didn’t exist until Puffy had no way out.
