The day of my first game playing in Mexico, my friend G sent me a text. His advice was to not pass the ball much since scoring was at a premium, and to dunk as much as I could. G advised the dunks would get me noticed and remembered.

I happily took G’s advice to heart: I shot the ball A LOT, and dunked my way to notoriety. Even the games where I didn’t perform well and my team lost, I was a Celebrity because of the dunks.
