I played on this traveling basketball team once called the Harlem Ambassadors. There was a guy on my traveling squad (we were separated into two groups) named Mike (not his real name) with whom I had a couple conflicts both on and off the court.
Though our disputes never came to any physical altercations, this teammate seemed to want to appear like a super-tough guy. Later in our season, Mike was switched to our other traveling and a guy named Steve (also not his real name) eventually came to replace Mike in our group. Steve had been in the other group, and Steve and I knew each other from earlier in the season, so we became road roommates (note: as a traveling team, we were ALWAYS on the road – so Steve and I talked a lot).
Steve told me how Mike, upon coming over to the other traveling group, let everything over there know how he was about to beat me up on multiple occasions (author’s note: FALSE on many levels. Haha). Steve told me how, though, he asked Mike, then, why didn’t he just do it? Mike had some lame excuses for why his gangster had gone on vacation.
Today’s show is about doing the shit you wanna do, instead of just talking about it. WOuld be fun, no?
