I once heard someone describe leadership as “disappointing people at a level they can accept or endure.” I liked that description enough that I did an entire episode of this podcast on it (#256). And the fact is, if you put three people in a room, there won’t be much time passed before there’s something they are not all seeing eye-to-eye on.
