Networking by itself doesn’t mean I’m making progress. If I’m just meeting people, shaking hands, and collecting contacts without a clear outcome, I’m just staying busy, not getting results. Real relevance comes from doing work that actually matters, not just being seen or known. I have to be clear on who I’m connecting with and why, otherwise it’s just a distraction.
