The idea of balance sounds good, but I don’t see it the way most people do. When I’m focused on something that actually matters, there is no equal split. I give more to what moves the outcome, and less to what doesn’t.
In this episode, I explain that the need for balance usually shows up when the stakes are low and nothing is really demanding your full attention. Real work creates pressure, and that pressure forces you to focus, not divide your energy evenly. Balance is not 50-50 to me, it’s making sure everything adds up while still prioritizing what truly matters.

Execution is not a talent.
It is a standard.
If your results don’t match your ability, you are out of alignment — not under-informed.
There are only two scenarios:
Either you don’t know where your execution is breaking…
Or you’re not showing up at the level required to perform.
