“Will it be harder to make it in college if I don’t make varsity in high school?”
“What if no one buys my product?”
“I don’t want to do all this work for nothing.”
Have you ever voiced, thought, or acted out any of the above statements? I think we all have at times. These thoughts are toxic; they become deadly effective when spoken. And they’re killing your chances of success.
It’s the fear addiction I broke down in episode #82. We are prone to fear as humans. We feel more comfortable in fear, actually, than we do in expectation of success. And the more we think about fear, failure and loss, the more we eventually talk about it. And just like success and death, failure is of the tongue: Talk about it enough, and it happens.
Today, learn to extinguish this toxic habit.
