In this episode, I’m talking about “ring culture”, the idea that you’re only as good as your ultimate results. I use basketball as the frame, but this applies to everything in life. In sports, people judge players based on championships, even though some legends never won one, while others with rings were just role players. The same happens in real life. Some people get credit because they were in the right place at the right time, not necessarily because they were the best. I’m breaking down why this mindset matters and how it affects the way we judge success.
