I keep hearing people say “America is a country of immigrants.” I don’t agree with that. We are a country of citizens. People come here because they want to become Americans, not just to visit. The whole “country of immigrants” thing is an emotional argument that leaves out the real point: the goal is citizenship. I made this episode to set the record straight.
