In this episode, I’m talking about the red pill movement. Based on my research, the red pill movement started in men’s self-improvement spaces and now includes debates on dating, gender roles, and society. I’ve listened to a few voices from that world, but I don’t know the major figures people usually associate with it. Still, I’ve seen and heard enough to share my take—and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing in this series.
Show Notes:
[03:21] #1 It encourages self improvement in men and it focuses on things such as fitness, finances and personal growth for the man himself looking in the mirror rather than seeking validation from the outside world.
[07:40] #2 Critique of modern dating and push back against feminism.
[19:19] #3 Teaching men to set boundaries in their relationships, not tolerating toxic behavior from others, however they deem things to be toxic.
