#317: How To Get Better Sleep

This is an episode I made because I had to learn all of this. I am far from a sleep expert. Up until maybe July 2016, I was on the other end, doing many things blatantly wrong when it came to sleep.

I never got 8 hours of uninterrupted rest. I’d sleep 4-6 hours, wake up and live, and take 2-3 hour naps every day. I slept with the shades open so the moonlight could come in and fill the room (and fill the room, it did). I ate a plethora candy and processed foods right before bed. I used an alarm clock that didn’t give a damn what stage of sleep I happened to be in.

But after reading some books and watching some really good TED Talks on sleep, I’ve turned over a new pillow. And I share what I’ve learned today.
