G-G-G-G-Unit!!! 50 is my favorite. Really, 50 Cent is my favorite rapper.

When I say this to people these days, I am probably giving away 1) my age, since 50 was at his hottest about 10 years (or more) ago, and 2) where I’m from, since 50’s a hardcore, east coast New York gangster rapper. Well, I’m 35 and from Philly. So those giveaways are true.


I’m a fan of 50 not just because of his music. If that was the case, I would have no reasons to remain a fan; he isn’t releasing new material nearly as much as many others these days. I’m a fan of the Comeback. Of someone being counted out then making it happen on his own energy. I’m a fan of the discipline and intelligence and ability to size people up.
