In elementary school (or maybe middle school), we did short distance running exercises or a mile or less. One of my gym teachers would always talk about the “finishing kick,” having something left in the tank to turn it up at the end to secure a strong finish. I never forgot that.
In life, especially in sports, the finishing kick is huge. You don’t want to be one who starts fast and takes an early lead only to fall behind in the end because you’re out of gas.
Today, let’s talk about turning up the heat and using it to melt the competition (even if that competition is only in your mind).
