#2951: There Is No Such Thing As A "Hate Crime"
While hate crime laws exist today, I argue that they're nonsense and shouldn't be on the books. According to Google's dictionary, a hate crime is a violent crime motivated by prejudice based on ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds. I believe this definition is flawed, and
I'll explain why these laws are unjustified and why a crime should be treated as a crime, regardless of motivation. Let’s go!
