I told you I never looked up to athletes. Jay-Z is another hip hop mogul who has inspired me a lot though, even while I was knee-deep in basketball.

As I’ve discussed on this(and others’) podcast before, ownership of my work is paramount. Right next to that is owning the means of production as much as possible, eliminating middlemen. Then it’s building a team, so I’m not the only one doing all the work forever.
