My mom was strict. One of my cousins stayed with us for a few months when I was in 3rd grade. As an adult, that same cousin referred to my mom as a “drill sergeant.” Ha. I can’t say, since I only had that experience. I knew it was strict, but over 18 years, it becomes normal.
Mom didn’t use the word “discipline” much, but that’s exactly what she subjected my sister and me to. Get this done, Do it now, and real penalties for not doing it.
